my bro which is 18 is the 23rd experimental kid to ever get this titanium rib put in and he is basically done growing so there going to take out the rod and he is having his surgery Monday. over the summer he was suppose to have had his last one but the rod has worked its way through the skin and the place is getting infected and we are going to DR. Wattenburger we would go to Santa Rosa(our primary hospital for my bro's surgeries) or Children's hospital of Philadelphia but there booked for the next 2 months and that is too long to wait. We live in the mountains of NC.

-bro- he is out of surgery and everything went good have to go back in a week to remove stitches because incision was big and butterfly stitches would not hold incision together
