Location: Saint Paul, MN | I know some of you were seeing Dr. Lael Luedtke at Gillette in St. Paul, MN - and then she had a terrible car accident and was "out of commision" as she had a lengthy recovery. Dr. Luedtke implanted our daughter's VEPTR I rods in May 2009. I didn't know she had resumed her practice! I just now saw her name on the scoliosis research site and about jumped out of my chair. We since have been seeing Dr. McIntosh at Mayo - however, it woud be great if both of these specialists could team-up for JunFen. It seems Dr. Luedtke is at Fairmount Mayo clinic - but does surgeries in Rochester. Is anyone seeing her? Is she still doing VEPTR? I had thought Gillette said she had not retunred to her practice - but she has!

| I saw Dr. Luedtke in Fairmont, MN. She did a total knee replacement on me. She was a fabulous doctor. She left Fairmont Clinic and I heard she moved her practice to Worthington, MN. I'm not sure where she is practicing in Worthington, but I am searching for her for a followup visit. Good Luck finding her... please post if you find where she is practicing. Gail |

| Would you know whether it's common for this surgery to be done on a 17-18 lb child? I just want to be sure the surgeon in Birmingham, AL is the best man for the job. How can I do that? |
