Good luck ![]() Jacki | ||

You want him to want to go, even thou it is hard and you really want him with family. Second make sure they have the medical training and skills needed to take care of your Noah, and lastly BREATH, it will all be ok. ~Rebekah~

BIG HUGS COMING YOUR WAY, I KNOW THIS MUST BE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT ON YOU...AND DIFFICULT PERHAPS AT FIRST ON NOAH, BUT HE IS GOING TO LOVE IT... GOD BLESS...

I can recall so many yrs ago when I had to make that decision too. Cole also was always cared for by family (his grammas) but before kindergarten started I wanted him to go to preschool for a few days a wk so he would be used to other kids, people, school setting,etc.. and kindergarten would not be so hard. Well after much much worry it all turned out fine and Cole loved it! Like everyone else has said definitely your big issue is making sure they are all aware of all the medical issues and any special needs he needs. Over the years Cole has even gone on to other after school clubs/daycare too part time and it all worked out great too. I just always made sure they were aware of his medical situation and how to handle it. Good luck and I am sure Noah will do just fine. Oh and for sure try not to let him see you worry as that could make it harder for him-let him see how much fun it will be.

During the tour he jumped right in and started playing and it turns out the 3 yr old teacher is a nurse and didn't seem a bit bothered by my "restrictions" for Noah or any of the special stuff I asked about. There are a few other kids with special needs also so that made me feel better too. Praying all goes well for us or mainly me. Thanks again it helps to know I'm not the only mom that worries.
